About me

I am a Sr. Web Designer with over 10 years of experience in the Web Design field. I am highly skilled in UI/UX design with wireframing, prototyping, A/B testing, 508 Compliancey and more! I enjoy coming up with ideas that demonstrate my “outside the box” thinking. I love designing aesthetically pleasing websites that clearly communicate a client’s message and vision. I enjoy learning new tools and technologies and sharing my knowledge with team members. I have great attention to detail and takes pride in providing high-quality work products that are user friendly and usability-focused.

I am looking for a creative opportunity to contribute my UX/UI design skills and technical capabilities to website design and development projects while working in a collaborative environment.

UI/UX Design

I do user research/testing, create user flows and personas, design web/mobile responsive UI's for various websites & applications. I design using Adobe XD or Figma to create wireframes and or low, high or interactive prototypes. I meet with clients to do demos or discuss requirements with each project for agile development. All while working with a collaborate effort in 2 weeks sprints

Web Design

I create successful responsive web sites/applications built with best practices. My main area of expertise is Front-End Design with HTML,CSS,JS. Building code in Visual Studio Code using GIT for version control. All the while working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary development team meeting W3C, 508 compliance and web standards.

Photography

I have been doing photography most of my life. I mainly photograph nature and landscapes. I enjoy thinking outside the box to create amazing images! This is where having a photo background gives me a greater depth of understanding inside the world of UI/UX! Photography as does UI/UX deals with rules of design, conceptual imagery and great imagination.

Contracted Web development job for current site and in production for new 60+ page company site. I"m also their graphic designer for their decorative window department.

Freelance contract with CGI Communications to customize a bootstrap theme for a clients daycare website. CGI provided download folder containing the clients information and to do list. Deadline was given for freelance job was one week. The job was delivered on time in less than one week to the client
